BAINBRIDGE RESIDENCE

The Bainbridge Residence was designed as a ground up 4-story custom single-family townhome. The owners of the project were looking for a design that could adapt with them into the future. With varying work schedules, the owners tasked us with creating spaces that were both separate but connected. We conceived a concept with two master bedrooms connected by a common walk-in shower. Each bedroom contained an in-suite water closet and lavatory area that then led into the spacious shared shower, accommodating their request for flexible privacy.

The exterior of the home includes charcoal brick, honed pure white limestone, and metal panels. The owners wanted a sleek yet timeless façade with little maintenance. The overall look is clean and modern from the custom front entry door to the simple roof cornice. The home also includes a 1-car garage and private rear yard complete with greenery.

The main living level includes an open concept plan with a sunk-in living room divided by a raised wet bar and dining space, perfect for entertaining. Grand 8-foot-tall glass doors flank a central fireplace that lead to a balcony. A unique touch is a floor to ceiling sliding glass wall that separates the kitchen and dining area. This was a special request of the owners to keep cooking aromas confined to the kitchen area while maintaining the sophisticated look of an open floor plan. All millwork throughout the home was custom designed and manufactured in Italy to work with owners storage requests, electronics, and artwork.
